Diglo and Michi spill on some of their albums of the year in suggestions to RoBi on Radio717. Check out the whole interview at the link above. They cover the creation of Chaos Magick and the story behind the track Dude Poisoning as well as their Alanis Morissette cover, which Robi geeks out about.

Here is a brief excerpt from the end of the interview.

Michi: I was going to shout out Totally Real Records who are also based here in New York. They have Pacing and Onesie and a whole roster. The Pacing Album Real Poetry is Always About Plants and Birds and Trees and the Animals and Milk and Honey Breathing in the Pink but Real Life is Behind a Screen

Diglo: Got the whole thing.

Michi: The whole thing, yeah. Definitely one of my favorite albums of 2023.

Diglo: Beautiful songwriting. 

RoBi: I’m taking notes because these are bands that I haven’t heard of. 

Diglo: Check them out. They’re very quirky, intelligent, and interesting lyrically. 

RoBi: You’re selling me, checking all of my boxes.

Diglo: Not all acoustic, but very very minimalist arrangements, very funny, cutting lyrics. I've been futzing around with my album of the year list trying to figure out. I usually wait till like the very very very end of the year to do it like finalize it.

Michi: I also want to mention Bondbreakr from Austin, Texas. They put out an album called Exile. They're just a really good metal and hardcore band.

Diglo: Since we were talking about MegaWednesday we just had Will, Full Blown Meltdown he put out an album called Mollify and that's like very very high up my end of the year list It's amazing especially if you are a fan of more  really heavy and bombastic like theatrical punk kind of like Say Anything, Save Face, Pup.”
